Summer: Summers in Holiday are hot and humid, with temperatures often reaching into the 90s Fahrenheit (32-37°C). The Gulf of Mexico helps moderate the extreme heat, providing a cooling effect. Summer is also the wet season, with frequent afternoon thunderstorms. These storms contribute to the lush greenery and contribute to the overall tropical feel of the region.
Fall: Fall brings a gradual decrease in temperatures and humidity, making it a more comfortable time to explore outdoor activities. Highs typically range from the 70s to 80s Fahrenheit (21-32°C). Fall is a popular season for locals and visitors alike, as the weather is pleasant, and outdoor events become more appealing.
Winter: Winters in Holiday are mild and dry, with daytime temperatures ranging from the 50s to 70s Fahrenheit (10-26°C). While colder temperatures are rare, occasional cold fronts may bring cooler weather. Winter is a popular time for “snowbirds,” individuals who migrate south to escape colder northern climates.
Spring: Spring marks a return to warmer temperatures and increased humidity. March to May sees the transition from the milder winter climate to the warmer, more humid conditions of summer. Spring is characterized by blooming flowers and a vibrant atmosphere.

Keeping your boat clean is essential for optimum performance. Depending on the season and the area, we suggest a 2 or 4 week cleaning cycle. For on-schedule boat bottom cleanings, we charge a rate per foot.
Sometimes time flies faster than anticipated. When your boat has not been cleaned in a while, and excessive growth has set in, opting for an hourly rate for cleaning is a smart choice. It ensures that every nook and cranny of your hull is thoroughly cleaned, allowing you to regain the exhilarating boating experience you’ve been missing.
A dinged and bent prop can rob you of 10 percent of your fuel costs, result in a lack of performance, bad cornering, and lower engine unit damage. A bent blade will severely affect performance and could even damage the engine and transmission. A damaged prop is often out of balance, resulting in vibrations or cavitation.
We will inspect your anodes and replace where necessary. It’s important to replace your zinc anodes on a regular basis to ensure your boat is protected from electrolysis and corrosion. A small investment in new zincs, can help save your boat from major damages. Prices are charged per zinc installation.
